Alderfer differs from Maslow in that his ERG theory assumes
a. growth needs can be completely satisfied just as existence and relatedness needs can be.
b. a lower level need must be gratified before a less concrete need becomes operative.
c. a rigid hierarchy of needs exists.
d. if higher level needs are strong but ungratified, individuals will increase their desire for the gratification of lower level needs.
e. the least concrete needs become more desired as they are fulfilled.
