I'm doing my Science study guide for Genetics and I need help.

Mendel's experiments depended on knowing what the parents were of any cross he made.  Peas are self-pollinated, so to prevent that he removed the male parts so that no pollen would be involved in the production of peas that Mendel, himself, did not introduce to the flower.
