So their is this article: "Hemoglobin Function and Physiological Adaptation to Hypoxia in High-Altitude Mammals" by Jay F. Storz (https://academic.oup.com/jmammal/article/88/1/24/927083)

And here is the following 5 questions which I already answered but would love if someone can check some or all of them for me.

1.How might animals living in hypoxic conditions adapt to an oxygen-poor environment?

Increasing affinity of hemoglobin for oxygen > which increases ability of hemoglobin to bind to oxygen in environment with low partial pressure for oxygen.

2.   True or False: at higher altitudes, the arterial partial pressure of oxygen is reduced, which may reduce tissue oxygenation.

True

3.   According to the Storz 2007 paper, deer mice with a higher bO2 helps them survive in

a.   Warmer environments
b.   Oxygen-poor environments
c.   Cooler environments
d.   Oxygen-rich environments

4.   Animals that are adapted to high-altitudes are expected to have _______ shifted ODCs.

a.   Left
b.   Right
c.   Up
d.   Down

5.   What alpha-globin genotype has the highest VO2max when tested at high altitudes (3800m)? Choose the correct answer.

a.   a0c0/a0c0
b.   a0c0/a1c1
c.   a1c1/a1c1

Whats your thoughts on this answers guys?!

1.How might animals living in hypoxic conditions adapt to an oxygen-poor environment? Increasing affinity of hemoglobin for oxygen > which increases ability of hemoglobin to bind to oxygen in environment with low partial pressure for oxygen.

Good..

2.   True or False: at higher altitudes, the arterial partial pressure of oxygen is reduced, which may reduce tissue oxygenation. True

Because the alveolar oxygen tension determines the arterial partial pressure of oxygen, an individual residing at high altitudes will inevitably display arterial oxygen tensions below 70 mm Hg which is already considered below the normal threshold.

a.   Warmer environments
b.   Oxygen-poor environments
c.   Cooler environments
d.   Oxygen-rich environments

High-altitude deer mice have evolved a high blood-O2 affinity compared to their lowland counterparts that contributes to increasing VO2max in hypoxia.
