Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) results in short but reoccurring episodes of fever as well as pain in the chest, joints, and abdomen. The disease occurs most frequently in individuals of Mediterranean descent. The gene responsible for FMF was discovered on chromosome 16 in 1997.
The following pedigree shows the occurrence of this disorder in one family. Provide the phenotypes and genotypes of all individuals in the pedigree. Of whose genotypes can you not be sure? Enter phenotypes as "affected" or "normal". Enter genotypes as RR, Rr, rr, or R_ for unknown.

How is FMF inherited? Enter your answer as "autosomal", "X-linked" or "Y-linked".

Duchenne muscular dystrophy is an X-linked recessive trait. The following pedigree shows the occurrence of this disorder in an extended family.
Provide the phenotypes and genotypes of all individuals in the pedigree.

Enter phenotypes as affected or normal.

When entering the genotypes, use one of the following: XDXd, XdXd, XDXD, XdY, or XDY; where XD represents the dominant allele and Xd represents the recessive allele.

This pedigree traces tongue rolling in a family. Black circles and squares represent the ability to roll the tongue.

The ability to roll your tongue is controlled by a dominant allele; people with the recessive allele cannot roll their tongues. Identify the phenotypes and genotypes of all the people shown in this pedigree. Enter phenotypes as roll or not. Enter gentoypes as RR, Rr, or rr.

How is FMF inherited? Answer

I'm genuinely confused here. We're not told if it is homozygous recessive or homozygous dominant. For instance, the ones shaded black are the one's affected, where as everyone else would either be a carrier or normal.

Is RR or rr affected?

Furthermore, since it doesn't affected a certain gender, it is likely autosomal. Y-linked means only men are affected, and that doesn't seem to be the case here. When it's X-linked, also mostly males are affected, but that doesn't seem to be the case after 4 generations.

I've attached my answer below, though I'm not entirely certain. See if it compares to your attempt.

yes, I seen that but they said ,
(YX=unaffected males, Yx=affected males, XX=unaffected homozygotic females, Xx=unaffected heterozygotic female carriers, xx=homozygotic affected females)

I-1:        Xx
I-2:        YX
II-1:       Yx
II-2:       XX
II-3:       Xx
II-4:       YX
III-1:      Yx
III-2:      Xx
III-3:      YX
III-4:      XX
I am not sure which answer is for phenotype and which one is for genotype..

For #3, where ever you see RR, Rr, or rr, that's called a genotype.

The phenotype for all RR or Rr is rolling tongue ability. rr gives the phenotype non-rolling.

Does that make more sense?

is that correct?

For the first attachment, you have two options for phenotype, roll and not. Do not, I repeat, do not put the letters for the alleles in that slot!! Type in either roll or not. The allele configuration is the genotype.

Think of genotype as the code: Rr, RR, rr ... The phenotype is what you visually see, so: roll or not.

No other alternative. I am away from the computer, I wrote this answer on my phone, so it's the best I can do to answer for now
