In my calculus class, I can see applications in all most all of the concepts we learn to physics. In linear algebra, I have yet to see even one application to physics aside from simple vector geometry, which most people know without ever taking physics. Please tell me, how are vector spaces, bases, dimensions, rank, determinants, eigenvalues/eigenvectors, and linear transformations used at all in physics? I have yet to see one of the applications of these topics to physics.
