 If two offspring result from the cross Zz x Zz, what is the probability that both will have the same genotype ZZ?

A) 1/4
B) 1/8
C) 1/16
D) 1/2

is the answer c? and why?

Actually the answer is A
In order to know you must do the table technique. (I have done it in the picture in have attached)
Each box has a 25% so totally its a 100%. In the table only one box appeared as ZZ (same genotype) out of 100% so its 25/100 =0.25=1/4
