I am in AP Biology and I am learning about G-protein receptors and Tyrosine-Kinase receptors and I have two questions.

1) Are both of those systems local or long distance? I am confused on how to tell whether a system is local or long distance.

2) For each system, what would be an example of what the end-response  might do? For example: Dilate blood vessels or something like that.


If you could help me understand, I would much appreciate it.
