can anyone please tell me what models or hypotheses were proposed for cell membrane structure besides lipid bilayer and fluid mosaic?
next day is my presentation and i'm unable to find satisfactory material for it Frowning Face

I would also like to include the Larry Frye and Micheal Edinin experiment, supporting the fluidity of proteins.  Around 1970 they labeled the plasma membrane proteins of a mouse cell and a human cell with different markers and fused the cells.  They observed the markers of the cell and they found that at least some membrane proteins move sideways within the plane of the plasma membrane.
