Develop a rough draft of a training framework using Figure 8.8 for the job you would like to have in the future (or have right now). You must include at least THREE different courses and fill out a framework for each. You may NOT include "canned" courses such as sexual harassment, OSHA, ethics, or code of conduct training. These are important, but they are essentially mandated now and only change by company. I want to know the things YOU want to learn for your career. Note: you can find out the skills that are needed for various jobs by searching on terms such as "best skills to have as a __________." There is amazing advice out there- find out what skills you lack and what interests you and then write these up with that information. A computer software course will often have multiple methods (online or in person) and a cost listed online. There are also soft skills training things like negotiations and leadership courses. Go explore! Develop a rough draft of a career development plan using Figure 8.9 for the job you would like to have in the future (or have right now). Naturally, you do not need to include the Managers Notes section. After you've done that for the job you want for yourself, I am very interested in your perspective as a manager. Considering what YOU found, how would you handle the competing needs of many employees? How do you think you would prioritize if you had a group (let's assume 10 people) that all wanted different training?

Perspective as a Manager
Based on what I have learned as a manager I would deal with the needs of the employees on the needs and requirements of the employees on the individual basis and as well on the basis of team training. I would analyze the requirements and the training type that each employee need and give short personal training and also I would direct the employees to the specific departments for the trainings that the employees require.
If I have a group of employees say (10 employees) and every employee require different type of training I would deal with the employees on the personal basis and allocate personal trainers or I would prioritize them on the basis of the training required. Because there are some of the trainings that are mandatory for every employee and some of the employees would need coaching and mentoring and some of them would need altogether different type of training so I would advise each of the employee to the relevant department for training.
