Determination of the genotype of F2 plants by the production of F3 progeny

Description
Determination of the genotype of F2 plants by the production of F3 progeny. F2 plants are self-fertilized and their F3 progeny are examined. Among the dominant (round) F2, approximately one-third are expected to be homozygous for the dominant allele (RR). These plants produce progeny that have only round peas. The remaining two-thirds of the dominant F2 are expected to be heterozygous, and produce both round and wrinkled peas in progeny. All F2 wrinkled peas are homozygous recessive (rr) and produce only wrinkled peas as progeny
