Endergonic - input of energy.

Photosynthesis is endergonic it requires solar energy to drive the reaction initially. Endergonic chemical reactions require an input of energy, an activation energy to begin.

a)

think about it, they get the energy for the reaction from sunlight. it doesn't directly release the energy they need, all it does is produce glucose.

so where do they get their energy from? a different reaction, glucose + oxygen. THAT releases energy so that's exergonic.

this stuff normally isn't reversible.

hope i helped Slight Smile
