Benedict's test is used to identify reducing sugars such as monosaccharides. When a reducing sugar is heated with the benedict's reagent the blue solution turns to a brick red colour. The biuret test is used to identify proteins. If there is protein present a pale purple layer is formed, if not it remains light blue. I'm not sure about the grease spot test, but i think that its used to test for fats.
