Industrial/organizational (i/o) is by far the most highly paid sub-specialty.

~Dr. B.~

p.s. You'll need a Ph.D. (or bare minimum master's degree) to even gain entry into the field.

Consider something else first.  I just started working on my psych degree and now I realize after its too late to change my major (unless I want to spend more money and extra time starting over).  There are just way too many people becoming psychologist right now, and there really are not many jobs out there.  I'm going to continue my degree just because my goal is to be a group home case manager rather than a therapist.  But if I were you before I start, I'd look into jobs that are in higher demand. Like nursing...a whole lot less people doing that than psych, and they start out making almost twice as much as a person with a bachelors in psychology.  Good luck!!
