The Aztecs had highly sophisticated technology in agriculture, architecture, and many other areas. However, in Aztec culture the wheel was used only for children's toys and not for wagons or transportation. Was the wheel part of Aztec technology?
A) No, because technology involves the use of tools and the knowledge of how to use them. The Aztecs did not have the knowledge of how to use the wheel.
B) Yes, because the wheel became important to technology in other cultures so it qualifies as technology.
C) Yes, because technology is about tools that people use to change their environment.
D) No, because technology is defined as a sophisticated system that people develop to create wealth and the Aztecs did not use the wheel to create wealth.
