A chi-square analysis of linkage between genes k and f produces a P value of 0.99. What is the likelihood that these two genes are linked?

In this case, we basically didn't reject the null hypothesis because the P is too high. If I remember correctly (I currently don't have access to my statistics book) it is not possible to precisely calculate the False negative error (or type II error) by using only the P. Or, at least, you can't calculate it by subtracting P from 1.
Because of this, the answer I would choose is None of these.
