Practice strategies are no more important than other common factors because:
 
  a. they go hand in hand with the common factors conditions and processes in
  the work with clients but should be secondary to more structured and
  directive methods.
  b. the strategies are ways in which a social worker may work with clients
  whereas social network factors are the vital part of the model to integrate into
  the work.
  c. research suggests that understanding, engagement, and responsiveness with
  others are what clients find most helpful in their work with social workers.
  d. studies have shown practicing strategies with clients before you are really
  good at them is unethical.
