What is one reason why parents have less influence over shaping their children's personalities than most people assume?
a)  The shared environment of the home exerts little influence on personality development; the nonshared environment has a stronger impact.
b)  Parenting styles tend to be consistent across children; as such, one would expect the personalities of siblings raised in the same home to be similar, and they are not.
c)  Personality traits are entirely genetic in their basis.
d)  Parents typically spend the majority of their time interacting with one another, rather than with their children; as such, the opportunities for influence are rare.
