Do you feel Subscriber Identity module (SIM) installation in Voice communication devices other than Smartphones, Cellular phones could be useful for voice communications?

Example : Pocket Transistor

Cellular phones work on wireless technology.

SIM provided by wireless service providers viz Reliance Jio, Vodafone, Idea, Airtel etc.

Wireless service providers (SIM)
viz Reliance, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea etc networking / integration with voice / audio communication devices manufacturers other than Smartphones & Cellular devices.

Can the SIM card be installed in Embedded Portable Medical devices which requires batteries to operate?

The Embedded Portable Medical devices after electronics modification & SIM card installation will also work as a cellular phone (wireless technology).

Mobile phones need SIM cards to connect the user to the network of their choice. What would be the benefit of having one on a wristwatch, or anything other than a phone? Why would it be necessary to let the network know that a wristwatch belongs to you? Wouldn't that be a privacy concern?

Do you feel there could be security concerns regarding SIM installation in Smartwatches, Wristwatches, Portable medical devices, Pocket Transistors etc?

Example : Similar to Hacking attacks on Smartphone, Cellular phone devices, hacking attacks on the above devices to get confidential data or make the above devices non functional or operational?

A device like a wristwatch would hold any personal data, like banking information, so apart from privacy, hacking it wouldn't be a major issue.

The portable medical devices will be multifunctional.

The Doctor / Physician / Nurse/ Medical Fraternity personnel will also be able to send / receive calls after installing the SIM card in the portable medical devices.

Also Send /  Receive SMS via the Portable Medical Device?

In that case you can make the device have an IP address, and have it connected to your phone instead. The phone would obtain all the information via bluetooth, no need to have a SIM chip.
