Let \(S\) be a square.

(a) By drawing appropriate diagrams, show that S can be partitioned into 6, 7, 8 or 9 squares, not necessarily all of the same size.

(b) For every positive integer \(n\ge 6\), explain why \(S\) can be partitioned into \(n\) squares.
