On one of the early morning television news programs you regularly watch, two members of the United States Senate were invited to present opposing positions on a bill that the Senate was debating.  The interviewer for the program was the show's host.  The interviewer raised questions of each of the senators in order to elicit their views on the proposed legislation.  In addition, the questions asked by the interviewer were designed to enable each of the interviewees to oppose the position of the other.  Using the terms outlined in Module Six, this type of interview illustrates the goal of:
A) a persuasive interview.
B) an information-sharing interview.
C) a legislative debate interview.
D) all of the above
