It says to explain the reasoning and write the ionic equation for the reaction.
Also, state any color change that is expected to be seen.

Bromine will replace iodine (single replacement) as it is more active than iodine (higher in group 17)

  bromine is more reactive than  iodine  so it replaces iodine from its compounds.
