Why would stochiometric amounts of reagents be needed to obtain pure products when the products below are water soluble?

1) 2NaOH + H2CO3 Rightwards Arrow Na2CO3 + 2H2O
2) Ca(OH)2 + H2C2O4 Rightwards Arrow CaC2O4 + 2H2O
3) Mg(OH)2 + H2SO4 Rightwards Arrow MgSO4 + 2H2O
