I know Fnet, mass, and Fn, but have no idea what the coefficient of friction is, nor do I have any idea what the force of friction is.

Context: I had to pull a block across a table. I know the Fnet and the mass of the block. I need to find out what the friction was

If you pulled the block such that it just started moving at constant speed, you know the  force you pulled with equals the friction force.

Then one step further, you know the coefficient of friction mu from

Friction = mu Fnormal = mu * weight = mu m g

So mu = F/( mg)
