What is the difference in the inheritance pattern between an autosomal dominant trait and a sex-linked dominant trait?

Autosomes are paired, in males the X and Y are not and so unpaired genes there behave as if their alleles were dominant rather than following the usual rules.

In autosomal inheritance, the probability of a certain phenotype is equally distributed between males and females.  However, the inheritance of sex-linked traits is "linked" to the sex of the individual (makes sense, right?).  So, in mammals, sex-linked traits are more often seen in males, since they are the gender which is hemizygous (has unpaired sex chromosomes).
