This problem is meant to relate relative polarities and their properties regarding solubility. Benzene (C6H6) is a very nonpolar molecule. Therefore, it will dissolve anything else very nonpolar.

I would assume so, but I didn't answer the question explicitly for a reason. It could also be (A), but I am not certain. What did you end up choosing/discovering?
