I just need an explanation, I am so confused.

molefraction is the ratio of the number of moles of the particular component to the total number of moles of the solution. i.e.
     Molefraction of A     = No. of moles of A/ No. of moles of solution

Mass percentage = Mass of solute/mass of solution* 100




Molality of solution = no. of moles of solute /Mass of solvent in Kg

You just have to convert Moles to the mass by the relation:

Mole=mass/Molar mass
