If the average daily total guest-check sales for each server in a fine dining restaurant were 800 and a server worked 5 days, 40 hours per week at minimum wage and earned a 20 percent tip average, what would be his or her annual income? Refer to

800 x 5 days a week = 4,000 per week x 50 weeks = 200,000 Annual Sales 200,000 x .20 percent tip average = 40,000 Annual Tip Income

40 hours per week x 50 weeks = 2,000 Annual Hours

40,000  2,000 = 20.00 per hour in tips + 2.13 per hour in wages = 22.13 Per Hour 22.13 per hour x 2,000 annual hours = 44,260 Annual Income with Tip Credit Applied
