When we think about the health-care industry there are only two things that come across our mind, it’s either a doctor’s profession or a nurse assisting the doctor. But the scenario of the health-care industry has totally evolved for better. Today it has given hopes to all those who want to pursue a career in various fields of the health-care industry. These new upcoming careers are making the doctor’s work easier rather than becoming a threat to their profession. If you want to be a part of this vast and noble health care industry, then the following are the top ten health-care careers-

1. Medical billing and coding: Medical coding and billing careers form the backbone of hospital administration. The staff required not necessarily should be trained but definitely skilled to lean the terminology of the sensitive medical profession. Medical billers and coders are high on demand.

2. Cardiac sonographer – This technologist inspects or studies the heart and the vascular system so that in the further process the doctors are able to detect the problems. They take help of the sonography technique. This particular job needs an appropriate degree to practise further on this designation.  Vascular technologists are sonographers who examine the different functions of blood. 7. Health information technician-The job here is to maintain the records of the hospital and the patients on the computer and reviewing the reports in the hospital.

8. Home care nursing staff-The job is to take personal care of the patients who are old and disabled. This includes cleaning the patients, bandaging as well as feeding them. This job requires a lot of patience.

9. Pharmacy technicians- These technicians give the patients their medicines as prescribed by the doctors. There is proper course required to become a pharmacist but the hospitals also train the candidates who want to pursue a career in pharmacy. Pharmacy technology is gaining significance in today’s world.

10. Speech-language pathologists- The job of this profile also needs immense patience as the pathologist has to teach the hearing impaired to talk. The job is all about communication and after the observation of the patient diagnose the illness.
