What is the possibility of being readmitted to a Caribbean Medical school (American University of Antigua) after a year and a half?

The reason the person had to leave was because of familial economic collapse.  The house went to foreclosure, family was about to be homeless, every thing bad that could happen did.  They left Medical School to start a business in order to bring the family out of the rut they were in.

Letters of hardship have been written but I'm not sure if they have been sent.

What are the chances of being readmitted?  What can I do to help?

i would suggest telling the individual to call the school and ask about their chances and status, and explain to them first hand, there's not a whole you can do, besides encourage them to get in contact with the school about their application and to be persistent about it
