She's been teaching since 1999, but the last two years have been practically unbearable for her, as her students have been real hellraisers.  This year she's teaching Kindergarten, and each day is a challenge.  She wants to find a related job, but is having difficulties.  Any advice?

She can be a counselor. They get paid well and dont have to deal with 30 kids at one time. And she can still be in the school setting that she is used to.

No advice for you, but I too am a teacher.  It is becoming an unbearable profession at times, especially when you work in financially unstable school systems, like I do.  Just wanted to let you know that your wife is not alone.  Has she thought about teaching in a private school?  The pay is less, generally, but the job is...well, it's like teaching SHOULD be.  Best of luck to you both.
