Here's what I think: Glomerular filtration rate increased because the net filtration pressure was increased. Net filtration pressure relies on glomerular hydrostatic pressure. This, however, doesn't mean more solute will pass through, since solute concentration is dependent on whether the solute is permeable or not. If the solute is not permeable to the membrane, than no matter what pressure applied, it won't pass through (it's likely too large).
