Concerning the will and the intellect, Duns Scotus argues that
 
 

a. the intellect guides the will.
  b. the will guides the intellect.
  c. the two have completely separate tasks and do not interact.
  d. since we never have adequate selfknowledge, it is impossible to know how the will and the intellect relate.
