A patient presents in the emergency department with trauma to the humerus. A humerus exam is ordered. The patient complains of pain more towards the shoulder. How should the images be centered?

to the mid humerus

Rationale: A humerus exam that is ordered, regardless of specific point of pain, requires centering to go towards the mid humerus. The humerus is a long bone and when imaged, both the proximal and distal joints must be included.
