A person's culture includes their language, beliefs, rules of behavior, rituals, styles of dress, ways of producing and cooking food, religion, and political and economic systems. in multicultural societies such as Canada is a real phenomenon, as unshared forms of culture can also lead to tension because people have a difficult time understanding the norms of other cultures. Furthermore, norms are an integral part of culture, as they play a key part in social control and social order. For example, in some cultures, it is considered rude to interrupt someone when they are speaking. This norm is based on the value of respecting others and allowing them to express themselves. Similarly, in some cultures, it is considered impolite to eat with your hands, while in others, it is the norm. This variability from one society to another suggests that norms and culture are connected, since they reflect the unique values and beliefs of each culture.
