For example,
A rock with a mass of 45kg falls straight down off a cliff. The magnitude of air resistance that opposes the downward motion is constant and equal to 250N.

I have already calculated acceleration with is -4.2m/s^2 so would that be it's magnitude of acceleration? I don't understand what the question means or how to find it.
