the corpus collosum is the communication connection between the left and right hemispheres of the brain

the hippocampus is the area of the brain that is repnsible for the encoding and retrieval of memories

they are not the same, but the are about an inch apart and both in the middle of your head

as far as i know, that's about as close as they come to being connected

but i'm just a student
