How many milliliters of a 2.56 M HNO3 solution are needed to make 125 mL of a 0.153 M solution by dilution with water.

solve this equation using  MV=MV
so... (2.56M)V=(125ml)(.153M)

V=7.47ml of HNO3
then you would just add water until your volume is 125ml
when done your final molarity will be 0.153M
