So as I understand it there are many colors of main sequence stars depending on how much mass the star as (red to orange to yellow to white to blue). A main sequence star like ours (a yellow star) eventually runs out of hydrogen and turns into a red giant.

All I usually see is that a star turns into a red giant at that point, but there's also blue giants, yellow giants, and I've even heard of white giants. So do those form in this same way but from more massive stars?

So basically, what kind of giant would a red star turn into, an orange star turn into, a yellow star turn into, a white star turn into, and a blue star turn into?
