The barrels are still filled with unknown substances that threaten other species in the area, but these opportunistic creatures at least are thriving despite all odds.

Chang’e-3 and the lunar rover Yutu (Jade Rabbit) landed on the lunar surface on December 14 at about 1:11 pm UTC. This is the first successful landing on the moon by any spacecraft in more than 30 years.

A composer by the name of Jim Wilson has recorded the sound of crickets and then slowed down the recording, revealing something so amazing. The crickets sound like they are singing the most beautiful chorus in perfect harmony. Though you may think it is human voices, everything you hear in this recording is in-fact crickets themselves! This is indeed the foot of a megalapteryx - better known as a moa. Moas were huge flightless birds that went extinct approximately 600 years ago. Keep in mind that all birds are descended from dinosaurs.
