I'm tired of homework and just want a quick answer to this one question. How are they different?

Drifting happens when variants disappear and flow is when they migrate. On a side note, weak genes are a strong indication of not being able to do your homework.

Gene flow (formerly known as migration):  individuals immigrating to a population bring their rare or new alleles with them.  In a small population, emigrating individuals can take their rare alleles with them.

Genetic drift:  allele frequencies in a population are changed by random events.  This is more obvious in a small population.  Consider a fire that randomly kills more black cats than white.  "Bottleneck" and "Founder Effect" are subtopics of genetic drift.
