A 2-kg mass sliding at 5 m/s collides elastically with a 3-kg mass sliding at 2 m/s as shown in the diagram. The collision is in a straight line, so it can be considered to me a one-dimensional collision. What is the speed of the 3-kg mass after the collision?

(1) 4.4 m/s (2) 1.4 m/s (3) 3.2 m/s (4) 5.0 m/s
