1 can't be true since 3 negates it. Answer is 3.

Is this a riddle though?

how have you sure that's the box 3? It makes the box 1 lies, but, maybe the box 1 is telling the true and the 3 the real liar, how can be sure about that?

The Car is in box 2.

Can't be box 3. Put a car in box 3 and all of a sudden you end up with 2 true statements
Box 1 "The car is in this box" = False
Box 2 "The car is not in this box" = True
Box 3 "The car is not in box 1" = True
*Only one of the statements is true.

Put a car in box 2 and you end up with only one true statement and therefore the answer.
Box 1 "The car is in this box" = False
Box 2 "The car is not in this box" = False
Box 3 "The car is not in box 1" = True

Put a car in box 1 and you get 2 true statements again..
