A team of researchers has created heat maps of where and how emotions are experienced in the human body. Shame and anxiety—just like love and depression—are experienced all over the body. 1 I don't think this is actually scientific. Sounds like this was done in a very subjective manner. Now, had they actually used infrared scanning or some such device while people were experiencing these emotions, this would hold some relevance. As it is, I think this is total crap (or perhaps relevant to a sociological/psych study of our subjective imaginings of emotions physical manifestations). Posted on Jan 3, 2014 by padre
