Technology only enables you to follow your desires. Your desires are their own entity. If you wish to be social, you will be social; technology or no. And the same is true for antisocial behavior. All of this nonsense about how today's technology is creating barriers between people is just that, nonsense.

The argument could be made that in some ways technology has made us *more* social (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) -- just not with the stranger sitting next to you on the bus.

But what about during family gatherings? This, of course, is just one example - people are commuting and don't want to be bothered.
